Are you struggling to make your social media "work" for your business?
Finding it hard to make posts that resonate with your audience and break past the 2-4% visibility statistic that we're all fighting?
Maybe it's your content. Are you being targeted with your posts? Talking to one customer at a time? Addressing one problem at a time? Every single social media post that you do needs to have a single job. It needs to talk with a single person, about a single problem and offer a single solution...in an interesting and engaging manner.
So, how do you create social media content that your customers will love?
In order for us to "beat the algorithm" we have to start creating great content!
Of course, I put "beat the algorithm" in quotes because I...
a) Don't believe it's possible
b) Don't think we should be worried about that
What we really should focus our effort on is satisfying our prospective customers and making them feel something about our business and our products and services.
So, what's the secret to this? Here's a quick list of what you'll need to create great social media posts.
Goal setting (not for vanity metrics such as "Likes" & "Fans")
Identify your ideal customer
Isolating the problems your customers are having
Matching your products with your customer's problem
Identifying the customer's transformation
Writing social media posts to communicate this messaging

Is that it? It's that simple? What should you do now?
Get to work!
If you hate goal setting and don't want to start there, then start with your customer groups. Figure out who your customers are and identify what their problems are.
Start writing out sentences/social media captions that identify the customer and their problems.
Add onto those captions how your problem/service addresses this specific problem.
What's the big takeaway here??
Be specific, be specific, be specific!
Social media posting that works is extremely specific. It's not about posts that are talking to everyone, but a single post that is talking to a single person about their specific problem and exactly what you can do to help them.
What You Need to Know
Creating social media content that your customers will love isn't rocket science. It's not that hard.
It's just a matter of taking the time to pay attention to them and create content that is specifically for them, not for and about you.
I say all the time "when you create content about yourself, you lose" - and there are a bunch of businesses out there losing at social media because they're continuing to make content about themselves - the business and the products.
They're refusing to make their social media content about the people who matter most...the customer.
Don't be like them - make content your customers love. You can do it, I believe in you!
